This is a courtesy reminder that the USDA waivers that allowed all family child care homes to be reimbursed at Tier I rates are ending on June 30, 2023.
As soon as the USDA releases the reimbursement rates that will be effective July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, we will automatically update the rates in My Food Program. There is no action that you need to take with regard to the new reimbursement rates.
However, it is going to be important to update the tier determinations for your providers before you run your July 2023 claims. Here some relevant reports and features related to tier determinations:
